New Program

I've only just discovered <download.com>, so I've still been experimenting with some new programs. I found a really neat one called TabletDraw. I made my Image stuff in it. Seeing as I don't have flash or Photoshop on my computer, I'm extremely excited to have found a program where I can draw. Now I just need flash... besides my school's.

In other news, my town is having a contest about Train-Track safety. Which is stupid, because there hasn't been any major accidents involving a train around our area in decades; its just to endorse the communal train companies around. The contest itself is designing a poster to raise awareness about train safety to children. They're giving out prizes for each grade... K-12. So I have quite a chance. The upside to this is that they have quite a hefty reward...

1st Prize: Laptop
2nd Prize: $250
3rd Prize: $100

That'll go straight into my flash fund, if of course I win. I'd rather win the cash, but it'd be cool ter have a laptop. Really cool. I'm gonna go download some more shit....

Shit man, I wish I could draw...they've been doing the contest for years, but they never really had prizes. Cool that you found a program. Congrats.

Good luck with the contest, and getting enough money to buy Flash. Myself, I always get really excited about contests, but then never finish anything in time to enter. :p

You should draw it with Flash. Have some guy standing in the middle of the train track on the left side of the poster, staring wide eyed at a train that is coming his way and put something like WHAT NOT TO DO above it and on the right side put UNLESS YOUR JAMES BOND THAT IS. And show the guy dodging the train like in the matrix with sun glasses on and a cigar in his mouth.
