You can use Garageband, and still make original music. Just don't use pre-made loops or Magic Garageband *cough*this song*cough*. Use the musical keyboard tool, and create your own synths, or better yet, record something yourself. Don't blame your lack of program options (which you don't have in the first place) for being targeted.

You didn't just use loops, you used pre-made songs. Why bother submitting this? It takes skill to compile loops well, and you don't even have that.

That was amazing. Reminded me a lot of some of Trent Reznor's solo instrumental work. I have a few points that I think would make the song a lot better though.

1. Too many repeats. There are basically five parts: The piano, the bass, the voice, the fx synth, and the beat. They repeat too many times, and there's no real reason for this song to be 4 minutes long. Compress it.

2. Make the cymbal tap less sharp (To keep the tone smoother), and don't bring it in immediately (For progression).

3. Hold off on the fx synth until the end, when you bring everything together.

This is a cool song. The distorted kick really adds to the raw feel. I didn't really like the clicking off beat, though the rhythm was good, it just annoyed me. The thing about the song that I didn't like was the scattered arrangement of instruments. The parts came in, then left and were never heard of again. Add some more call backs and take away newer instruments, such as the one that comes in on 1:42.

I'm not familiar with the program, so I wouldn't be able to give you any other crits. cheers.

This is tasty for my ears. Its so dissonant and full of little bits that give the song a great feel. It really didn't need to go on for so long, but I still love it.

If only it went on longer. The feel of this song is amazing. I could listen to this for hours. The build is perfect, and when the bass drum kicks in at 34, its just killer. I'll have to check out the rest of these songs. Cause for a 1 day song, this is fantastic.
